A Grace Report/Update

Wow!  I am so thrilled with our church, New Covenant Grace Fellowship of Citrus County, FL! ( You know, as far as I'm concerned I am a part of the best church in the state of Florida!  I'm not just saying that because I am the Sr. Ministry Leader.  No!  I'm making the previous statement due to the fact that I totally mean it.  Our church is just totally healthy, probably it is the most healthy church that I have ever been affiliated with. I can only give God the total glory for this as it is all due to the revelation that He's sharing with us in regards to the finished works of Christ that is making this super transformation in our lives.

I have never in my life witnessed what is taking place within our church anyplace else, and that included all of the years of travel, ministering in churches all over America.  I made a statement during last Sunday's message that went something like this, "If you are a pastor and you disagree with my beliefs on New Covenant Grace, well...I'll compare my people to your people any day of the week!"  Now that may sound like a pretty boastful statement and to be honest it is very boastful!  However, you have to understand who it is that I'm boasting in; His name is Jesus!

The bottom line fact is that our people are walking with Jesus in ways that I've never experienced in any other church.  As a pastor, I'm not dealing with the usual "junk" that comes along with ministry as our people are learning to deal with their "junk" in light of the New Covenant, that which Christ has done for them,  including walks in holiness as Christ is perfecting them all of the time!

The vision I am getting of our church is that of a "rallying point" for those of "like precious faith," those who likewise are catching the vision of New Covenant Grace.  For many years, I've been totally intrigued by a few verses of Scripture found in Acts 8:1-8.  These verses deal with a powerful, supernatural move of God in the city of Samaria.  Verse 8 is what I see for our region, "And there was great joy in that city!"  Therefore I'm shouting a clarion call to all of those in our region who are catching the revelation of New Covenant Grace, "Rally the troops, let's join together forming "critical mass" and explode all over our region.  It's time to put a end to all religion and raise up the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, after all there is a people awaiting for us to share our revelation with them!

Can anyone say, "Glory?"

Grace and Peace!

Which Jesus Do You Believe In?

I continue to be amazed at the revelations that keep coming to me in regards to this wonderful New Covenant life!  This past weekend the Holy Spirit opened up a new level of insight on those Peter calls, "False teachers." (2 Peter 2:1 NLT)  The interesting thing is that those who oppose the "Grace Movement" claim that it is those of us who promote the "Grace message" that are the "false teachers."  Yet the fact is that is all of those who promote the religious view that mixes law with Grace who are in reality teaching false doctrine.

When people teach that Believers in Christ still can sin, they are placing their followers back under law.  Peter distinctly warns about such teaching by stating, "I am warning you ahead of time, dear friends. Be on guard so that you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing." (2 Peter 3:17) Actually both of Peter's books are emphatically showing that the false teachers are those who disregard the true Gospel of Grace and bring back the law, thus thrusting those who adhere to their teachings back into the confines of sin.  This is a pretty bad situation!

Peter continues to uphold the Grace message in 2 Peter 3: 18 by saying, "Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." I think it's rather neat that Peter is telling us to "grow in Grace!" In other words...keep pressing into the Grace message as it will bring us into greater knowledge of Christ; and that is exactly what is happening to those I know who are living in this New Covenant Revolution.

Paul also stands strong on my thoughts here.  In Galatians 1:6-7 he says, "I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ.  You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all.  You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ."  Wow!  That's some pretty heavy words coming forth from the guy who was taught the truths of New Covenant Grace by Christ Himself.

Therefore, if some are "following a different Good News," they in fact are following a different Christ.  Paul says that this Christ and his gospel are actually "pretenders!"

So, our question might be, "Which Christ do you follow?"  The Pretender says that you have to do things and not do other things in order to please God.  This Pretender says that Believers still can sin.  On the other hand the True Christ said, "It is finished!"  He declares you perfect in your walk into holiness and through His blood sacrifice makes you righteous!

Again Paul in Romans 6: 17-18, "Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you.  Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living."

Can someone please say, "GLORY?"
