Happenings in Hernando, FL!

Last Sunday began our 80th week since the Holy Spirit hit our church in powerful ways. The first Sunday of Jan. Corinne and I began our 3rd year of pastorate, who would have ever thought!  Almost immediately after New Years, 2011, I was being stirred by the Holy Spirit about exactly how ripe the Harvest Field really is.

A passage of scripture that has been eating my lunch lately has been Luke 15, about the 1 sinner who came home and the 99 that has been left in order for that to happen.  The real issue to me, where I've been hit between the eyes with conviction, is that there is more rejoicing in Heaven over that 1.  So, in Heaven, there has NOT been too much excitement over what's been happening in our church!  ouch!

For the past couple of weeks or so, I've been teaching/preaching on out reach, that this year God is taking us outside the 4 walls of our building.  To be honest, I've never had a stronger anointing on me in this area ever before!  It's like it's a fresh passion and the people, the revived people, of our church have been really catching it!

Last Wed. night a young man came to our meeting and powerfully gave his life to Christ. He prayed a sinner's prayer, but the Spirit was all over him, he was slain in the Spirit and as he was falling he was speaking in tongues.  He testified Sunday how his life has been changed.  Now... what happened in Heaven as a result?  Dancing, rejoicing...maybe the Father, Son and Holy Spirit doing a a circle dance, holding each other's hands shouting, "Did you see that... another lost son has come home!"  Now there was great excitement over what is going on in our church!

Last week we ended up with 4 new decisions for Christ.  As of this morning, Friday 1/21, we've had 2 already.  One young man got wonderfully saved last night at the end of our meeting!  Our people are on fire!  They are pumped!  I've never seen a church ready to explode like we are.  Tomorrow morning Corinne and I are leading some teams to the streets.

We have partnered with the Great Awakening Tour, NBF is being called a "Soul Winning Station."  In case you don't know what is going on in Tampa, Rodney Howard Browne has been live nightly on CTN (Christian Television Network) from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. (eastern time).  CTN has stated that there is no end in sight to these meetings.  Many of our people have been watching these meetings and have called, "Have you been watching what's been going on in Tampa?"  Rodney is being greatly used again in these days!  I encourage you to check this out.  I know Direct TV locally is airing these programs, as well as our local cable outlet.  If you can't find them in your area, you can view by going to Rodney's website: www.revival.com

Last Sun. morning we had Evangelist Roger Webb in to help kick off the new direction our church is moving in.  Roger Webb was completely astonished by what he saw from our people!  During that meeting we had two adults saved, both who have terminal illness going on.  Not only did they get saved, but it's looking good for their physical conditions as well!  The couple are excited and are telling people that they will be in church Sunday morning!

OK... this is getting too long to be a "quick testimony!"  But in case you can't tell, I'm pumped!

If you have any questions give me a shout.  I'd love to talk more about what is going on here!

Blessings!
Larry

Wanna Start a Party in Heaven?

Since July, 2009, or church, New Beginnings Fellowship in Hernando, Florida (www.nbfhernando.com), has been in a true revival flow.  Actually tonight's meeting will end our 79th week of extended meetings.  There are no words available for me to share with you what the Lord has done in our small church over this time.  The Lord has completely transformed our people, spirit soul and body!  As I have shared many times, we are living proof that revival can come to a small church.

More Aug Desiree 005

Towards the end of last year, many of us  strongly sensed that God was going to bring us to another new level of His Spirit's flow.  This would most likely look like not only just revival being extended, but it would also become deeper, with more of God's purposes being fulfilled, not just our own.

Lately a concept, I believe God given, has been eating my lunch!  What does Heaven think about what is going on in our church.  We all think that what has been going on over the past 79 weeks is totally great.  However, what does God think?  What does He really think of what is happening with us!  I keep getting this thought; The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are having a meeting.  They seem to be discussing our church, NBF, and what is taking place there.  Here is a part of their discussion, "Yeah, about that little church down there in Hernando...yawn...ah..well, they are getting closer to Us, their lives... yawn..seem to be changing...We guess it's a pretty good thing...we think...yawn!"

Then this past Wednesday night, during our meeting, a young man, Jake, gave his life to Jesus.  He was gloriously saved and even filled with the Holy Spirit as he went down to the floor as he was being prayed for.  Hummm... I wonder what happened in Heaven as that was going on?  Again... Heaven's meeting, the Great Three in One surrounded by the angelic Host..."Did You see that!  Wow... Here comes another one!  Man... look at this guy..he's been so far away from Us..he's coming home... kill the fatted calf, get the robe ready, polish up the ring is shouted to the angelic jewelers... Our son who was lost is now found... It's party time!  Good going NBF....Great job!  Our blessings are being poured down upon you for even more!"

You may ask, "Larry, why do you think this is the case?"  Here's why:

Luke 15:6-7 (New Living Translation)

6 When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!

The thing that is really exciting me is that our revived people are so ready to go to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  Revival has brought our small church to this point and I am pumped...This is the begining of expanding the Kingdom of God in Citrus County, Florida!

Also, I might suggest you, your friends, and your church, get in tune with what is currently happening in Tampa with Rodney Howard-Browne and "The Great Awakening."  CTN TV has been broadcasting, live nightly, these meetings with no end in sight.  Thousands of souls are coming into the Kingdom of God as a result!  Check it out!  You can also get free matieral on their website: www.revival.com.

Man... I'm pumped and excited to be a part of starting parties in Heaven!  How about you?

Our 2nd Anniversary

Happy New Year 2011!

Yesterday, January 2, 2011 began Corinne and my 3rd year as Sr. Pastors of New Beginnings Fellowship in Hernando, Florida.  www.nbfhernando.com   We arrived here expecting to do a few meetings in this church, then found ourselves staying, as far as we know, forever!

Christmas and New Years Eve 2009 009

New Years Eve was a powerful time of worship, impartation, food and fun!  Then yesterday a powerful fresh wave of freedom and anointing hit us.  God moved, people were healed and I left the meeting walking on "Cloud 9!"  What a glorious confirmation that we are walking in the will of the Lord.

The Spirit of Revival continues at NBF.  Our meetings this week, Wednesday and Friday nights will most likely be more of the Holy Spirit bombarding us from Heaven!

Corinne and I thank God for putting us in the midst of what we consider the finest church in Florida.  Of course we may be a little prejudiced  here, but after all, this is the church God has called us to, so it has to be the finest!

Friends, we continue to seek more of of the Holy Spirit's moving in our midst.  God greatly blessed our church last year, but we are expecting much, much more in this new year.

Once again, I am thrilled to state, emphatically state, that, "Revival can come to a small church!" OK... I'm still excited!  I hope you are too!  If I can be of service to you, feel free to give me a shout!

Grace and Peace for this New Year!

Larry!
