A Powerful Move of God Coming!

I'm officially on vacation!  I'm' now waiting out some rain to end while sitting  in a log cabin in Michigan.  I've seen lots of my family, and have especially enjoyed great times with some of the neatest grand kids in the world.  Yet, deep in my heart I keep hearing the groaning of the Holy Spirit saying...."Much more is about to be poured out upon you!"

54 weeks ago the Lord powerfully poured His Spirit onto our small church in out of the way, Hernando, Florida. (  He has healed many physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Within a short few months He transformed our struggling, hurting group of people into a dynamic power house of God's love and grace, effectively moving forth the Kingdom of God in many lives.

As exciting as all of this is, I am sensing in my spirit, that a great new wave of the Holy Spirit is coming ashore this September and October.  I am totally ready!

America is in trouble!  Many are saying that the economy will actually worsen.   This does not surprise me as God says in the Book of Hebrews that, "Everything that can be shaken will be shaken so that the only thing remaining is the unshakable Kingdom of God!"  Yes.... a  great Harvest of souls is about to come into the Church.  We need to be ready to meet them, mentor them, send them back out to bring in more of the Harvest and Church as Usual will not fulfill that need!

So.. my question is:  Are you Ready, Ready, Ready??

I am and I want more of Him!

Kingdom Blessings!

Is Your Church a Revolving Door?

Is Your Church a Revolving Door?

Are people coming and going?

A lesson I learned sometime ago, one that has given me much comfort and allowed me to keep the little remaining hair I have left is that those attending the church I serve do not belong to me! As the Senior Ministry Leader of New Beginnings Fellowship in Hernando, FL, ( I have found that I sleep much better by knowing that the "Sheep" don't belong to me! I'm just the guy that God called to this ministry in order that I might facilitate the ministries of the others that He's called. In other words, my job description is simply, helping others to do the
"work of the ministry," and not do it all myself! Sound familiar? It should, it's the Biblical way of doing things.... Ephesians 4: 11-12.

"Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ." (NLT)

I often hear others talk about how their church continues to experience "back door revivals." Of course that is where people enter a church by the front door with the leadership hoping beyond hope that they will stay forever, and help make their church grow larger. Then for many reasons the people leave out the back door dashing to the ground the hopes and plans and often egos of the leadership.

An apostolic friend of mine in California, Jeff
Green, used to teach that you can tell an "Old Wineskin Church" from a "New Wineskin Church," by what they do with the people. The Old Wineskin model is based upon CONTAINMENT. The thought here is, "Come to my church, help me make it grow larger, etc." Whereas the New Wineskin model is based on RELEASE. It looks like this...."Get out of here, go do the work of ministry that God's called you to, and I'll help you get the job done!" I believe that the second choice here is much more effective in advancing the Kingdom of God!

It just seems to me that a church with a revolving door will create much more happy Sheep as they will constantly be going forth releasing their ministry skills. Try to coop up and contain the Sheep and they will eventually create a back door to the pen in seeking freedom and fulfillment!

Last night Corinne and I and the rest of the Body of NBF had the great pleasure of sending
some Sheep out of our Anointed Revolving Door, into the ministries that God had called them to. Sister Julia leaves Saturday for Panama.

Chuck and Ann were commissioned as Revivalists to the small churches of America. (hummm... sounds like something that I used to do!)

I'm glad that the door at NBF swings both ways! The thing is, God keeps sending us leaders. Hey, I'm not talking about future leaders here, I'm talking about LEADERS NOW! They are called to lead others, especially as they go forth through our Anointed Revolving Door to the Nations!

I love my job! I love the revival in our midst that makes my job much more fulfilling!

Revival Spreads!

Hi All,

Just a quick note. It's Tuesday afternoon and I'm totally PUMPED! I am so ready for tomorrow nights meeting that I just can't hardly stand it! I know that the Lord has something special in store for us this Wed. - Fri. nights. After all we are now into our 53rd week of meetings since revival hit us!

I'm also very excited as we will be beginning something that the Lord has been leading up to, that is spreading revival.

Saturday morning a team of "Special Secret Agents" from NBF traveled to a nearby town to do some undercover spy work and revival planning, prayer walking and letting some
light shine! We are planning a large outreach into this community within the next few weeks, we're just waiting for the go ahead word from the Lord on it.

Then in tomorrow night's meeting we will be laying
hands on 3 people, officially sending one to the Nations, Panama and two others to the USA so that they may help spread revival to the small churches of America as Revivalists from NBF! Oh... How I love this!

Yep... this is going to be a special week! I hope to see you in some of this week's meetings. For more info you can go to our webpage:

Got to go now, so have a great, blessed rest of the day!

Love ya!

Hi All,

Recently it has become so very difficult to express with my limited communication skills just how excited about revival I really am. I am completely aware of the fact that many of you reading these updates do not have the slightest idea about what is going on at New Beginnings Fellowship in Hernando, Florida. Very possibly some of you do not even care about what is taking place here. So many people do not understand what true revival really is.

Several months ago a lady from another church visited one of our Friday night meetings. A few weeks later I got a chance to meet with her, and
her response wasn't too exciting. She basically told me that it was a "nice meeting," but she didn't see what all of the excitement was all about. I suggested to her that she come back a few more times, and since she
is in just about every Friday night meeting. The neat thing is that she is still attending the church that she was previously attending, with no pressure on her to come to our church. The difference is that she now fully understands what true revival is and is jumping into the River of God when she can as her life has been changed by the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

I've often wondered what it will take for everyone in our region to jump into a powerful move of God. I'm saddened by the fact that this most likely will not happen. As long as people think that just going to church is good enough then changing our region by the power of the Holy Spirit won't be so easy.

However, we at NBF will continue to push on into full revival as long as the Holy Spirit deems it necessary that we do so. Last week we celebrated our first year anniversary of these meetings. We are in the process of entering
into Year #2! I'm excited about this! Actually, I'm very pumped! So much has happened over the past 12 months, that there is no telling what may happen over the next 12, but I want to be right in the middle of it all!

Please remember that this Wed. (tomorrow) through Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. we will open our doors once again to whatever the Holy Spirit wants to do in our midst. Joining Corinne and I in ministry will be Dr. Randy Casiano, Joe Kelly, Mike Haendiges and Chuck McCollum. We should be in for a great time in the Lord! I hope you can make some of these meetings, give them a try and see what the Lord does for you!
