Natalie Update

Thanks you to all who have been praying for Natalie.  She went to the hospital yesterday morning and 2 tumors were discovered in her right eye.  They were treated with laser treatment and chemo was injected directly into her eye.  The Doctor's report was quite positive.  We'll know more in a couple of weeks.

It means so much to us to have friends holding our family up in prayer.  I guess one of the most difficult things that we face is being separated from our family all of the time.  God's called us to the "Highway to Revival" but it still is hard, especially on a Mom/Grandmother when her Grand babies are in trouble!

Urgent... Natalie Needs More Prayer!

Urgent!!!!  Natalie Needs More Prayer!

Our Granddaughter is fighting cancer! We are asking for more prayer for our Granddaughter Natalie Rowe.  Most of you recall that Natalie was born 4 months ago and it was soon discovered that 1/2 of her Chromosome 13 is missing.  This is a serious genetics problem which created for Natalie a displaced left hip, a little deformity on her left hand, a slightly cleft pallet as well as a failure for her to gain weight.  Parents Stacey and Tim had been feeding Natalie with a tube down her nose, which was creating extreme discomfort for our little baby.  Recently a feeding port was inserted into her stomach and she has gained a few ounces more, with her weighing in now at 8 lbs, 6 oz.  Wednesday, during an eye check up, it was discovered that Natalie now has cancer in her right eye.  This cancer is called Retina Blastoma (link).  This is a very rapidly growing type of cancer that can have very serious effects on her future vision.  Today, Friday May 29, Natalie will have another MRI to make sure the cancer has not spread into her brain, she will undergo some sort of laser treatment, and then she will be  injected with chemo directly into the tumor that they have found.  Children with Chromosome 13 problems are very susceptible to cancer in many forms, so we are asking God to move on her behalf in this immediate situation, but even more so, totally heal Natalie of any and all Chromosome 13 issues! We appreciate any and all the prayer you can send off for this little Cutie! Thank You!  We also acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Larry's Musings for Monday May 25: "Happy Memorial Day!"

Greetings from Soggy Florida!

Wow... talk about rain!  If the "Three Year Drought"  hasn't been broken yet, it must be pretty close.  Have you ever seen a "Texas Gully Washer?"  Over the past few days, I think I've seen a couple of "Texas Gully Washers" here in Florida!  I was wondering if I was going to get up this morning and begin work on "Larry's Ark!" 

Suffice it to say, if this rain in the natural is anything like what's about to happen here in the spirit realm, we'd better hold onto our hats cause Florida is about to be hit with a "Heaven Sent Gully Washer!"  Now the thought of that really excites me!

Corinne and I were stretched greatly by the prospect of us coming off the road and settle in one place actually being pastors again.  If you would have told us a year ago that we'd be doing this, I most likely would have laughed in your face!  Oh how God changes things, changes us!  What a change He's done in my heart so that I can do what He's called me to do!  Sometimes people ask me if I miss the travel, miss the nightly meetings and revival.  My answer is, "Sure!"  However, I also know that I am in the perfect will of God.  He has blessed us with a great church, and by that, I mean great people.  The one word that describes New Beginnings Fellowship (website)  like none other is, "Potential!"  We feel that God is going to send a powerful wave of His Holy Spirit into our midst.  The potential for that happening is very, very good!  

Yesterday was a good day of worship and fellowship.  We are looking forward to some more fellowship with some of our new friends today at a holiday cookout.  We're also going to remember our military hero's in prayer today.  Yep, it's going to be a good Memorial Day!

Lots of Rain in Florida!

Wow, for over a week now we've had daily rain, thunder showers and even a few thunder storms. 

Florida has really needed this rain.  As much as I quickly tire of lack of sun, I'm not complaining too much about this weather as this State has been in drought conditions for nearly 3 years.  Anyone who knows me at all, is fully aware of the fact that I thrive on sunshine!  So it is a real stretch for me to say that all of this rain is welcome.  But it is welcome, very welcome!  No one likes drought!

Hummm... this will preach!  Hopefully no one reading this blog  likes spiritual drought as well!  I don't!  I like spiritual rain, I love it!   There is nothing better than God's Revival Rain falling upon spiritually drought stricken people. 

Corinne and I are now permanent residents of Florida.  We have been called to minister in one of the neatest churches in the State.  We are blessed to be here.  We will still travel and minister to where ever God's people want us and where He wants to send us.  However, for the most part, we are excited to fulfill His calling on our lives here at New Beginnings Fellowship of Hernando.  website  The exciting thing for us is that Corinne and I and several people within our cool church are expecting the soon coming fall of God's rain! 

Yeah... Lord, send Your Revival Rain!  More Lord!

I Still Say it's Revival!

Someone asked me for my opinion of what I thought all of the chaos in our economy means.  We went into a few areas that I feel that the Lord has been showing me.  Yet, to me, the greatest aspect of all of this is that God is about to release true Kingdom Revival upon the American Church!  Yep, He's shaking us to the core, getting us re-focused and about to turn us loose into the most devil shaking move of God that this old world has ever seen!  I'm seeing bits of it already beginning to form.  I'm hearing testimonies of God moving in powerful waves of healing, signs and wonders.  I keep hearing that we've not seen anything yet, that the best is yet to come!

These days I find myself fitting the role of being a pastor of a local church.  Thankfully our people are banding together and seeing that the need is there to be in one accord with each other in covenant relationships, and that the building is just that...A BUILDING and we, the people,  are THE CHURCH!  Therefore, in this new position I find myself in,  I have the release to be all that God's called me to be, and that's not changed one bit... that calling is that of the REVIVALIST!  Yep... that's my heart!  More of Him, less of me is my cry!

Thank you Lord!  Thank you so much for allowing me to live in these most exciting times!

Larry's Musings for Friday, May 8: "These Times we are Living in!"

Greetings from Citrus County, Florida....

Wow... what a week!  The entire day yesterday was taken up by my trying to fix the hot water heater in "Pilgrim 1."  We discovered a water leak, which I was able to repair, after a ton of effort.   There are no easy repairs ever done on a RV!  Often I have to just about stand on my head to just tighten one little bolt or screw!  So... the leak got fixed, but still no hot water!  We cannot get the pilot light to stay buring, so still no hot water!  Talk about cold showers!  burrrrrr...  Today the repair guy is coming! 

Anyway, the Bible says that in the days we're living in that "Perilous times shall come!"  That is a reference from II Timothy 3: 1. 

I keep hearing, "Larry preach and teach a 'relevant message.'"  People are dealing with some very heavy duty issues and I'm hearing from Heaven that God wants to make a way for people, give them answers when they lack them, give them healing and health where needed, and even be their protector and source of divine provision!   I feel that this is not the time to be doing random Bible studies, but rather get right down to the "nitty gritty," right down to where "The Rubber Meets the Road!"  A couple of weeks ago the Lord had me minister on the Abrahamic Covenant.  Last Sunday Corinne expanded on that, and this Sunday, May 10 (Mother's Day), I feel to move much deeper into the practicalities of this covenant!  My message title will be, "Where the Rubber Meets the Road!"
