The past two nights I've been working with my friend Evangelist Roger Webb. Roger has had tons of miracles following his ministry over the past few years. I'm not kidding you! In one recent meeting he had reports back on about 50% of the congregation receiving a needed healing miracle.
We've been doing live broadcasting on Ustream.com and actually praying for folks live on the web cast. The healings have been very dramatic! We are going to be web casting again Thursday evening (April 23) at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. (go to www.rogerwebb.org and click on the Ustream link) So, I've been contacting people, telling them about the broadcast. I've also been trying to think of everyone I know that needs a miracle and either by Facebook chat, or by Instant Message or email, letting them know about the meeting. I'm very appalled by some of the responses I get! Some people, some very needy people, don't even respond to me. Others do but tell me they are busy that night, or come up with another excuse! One person with severe sickness in their family, told me that they had a movie to go to Thursday night! What's with that?????
I'm beginning to wonder if we really do believe that Jesus heals the sick? I know the problem... people have heard things like this for years and they have developed a mentality of..."Sure Bro...I know that Jesus heals today, but it's for everyone else but me!" Or how about this one..."Sure He heals, but I've been prayed for 100 times and I'm not healed yet!" No faith manifested there!
I guess when we get desperate enough we might seek the Lord 100% again! I guess that is where I am! Somethings going on with me physically lately are in such a place that unless Jesus does the work, it just will remain untreated! Hummm..... but then again, Jesus ALREADY did the work! He did it 2000 years ago! After all, "By His stripes I am (was) healed! Hey, it don't get any better than that!
I believe that Jesus heals... how about you?
